I'm sure that he is like a father figure and he does get along with everybody he works with which is fantastic. When did he work with Christian Bale?

I would imagine Patrick and Ian would be the grandfather figures in the cast and Hugh would be the father figure. Everyone always says in interviews that Hugh kind of takes them under his wing and looks out for them.

Patrick & Ian are like grandfather's, I agree and Hugh is like a father figure, he really is down to earth

Hugh's character practically becomes evil in The Prestige. He made me hate him. Incredible acting because I didn't think it was possible for me to hate a character Hugh played. I loved his performance, but the character is such a jerk!!!! This character is like the opposite of who he is in real life.

Aw I think the older cast in general are all mentors to the younger cast.

Prestige is a great film. I agree, Hugh's character is a bit of a jerk Kinda eerie too

Sounds interesting if he is able to make you hate the character even if we love Hugh. Going to have to watch it

I don't think he played a bad character. I think the character was very interesting and layered. Just a major jerk of a character. Easy to hate because he was not a good person at all.
