Okay so figured out this would be the best place to come to.

I've always been a fan of the X-Men since before the movies, back when they had that 90's TV show on Fox Kids.

I've always been a DC girl though, not Marvel but I've also always been curious about getting into the comics.

Only thing is I don't know where to even start, so could some of you all point me in the right direction?

I'm mainly into Wolverine if that narrows things down.

Well there's been a few Wolverine animated series or so you mean for comic reading?

Hi there! Wow, that's a lot of X-Men history to narrow down. I'd go back to the Chris Claremont era of X-Men comics just to start. I'm also a fan of the 80's X-Men and X-Factor comics, since that's where the whole Apocalypse/Cable/Mister Sinister saga began.

The Chris Claremont era goes from the mid '70s down into the early '90s and includes a lot of the most classic X-Men stuff, with Wolverine a member of the team the whole time. And let's not forget Wolverine's own comic, which started up in the late '80s. Marvel has reprints of the Chris Claremont/Frank Miller Wolverine limited series (from the early '80s -the Wolverine movie was based on it), in a collection with basically that name, and the early years of Wolverine's own ongoing comic, in the Wolverine: Madripoor Nights Epic Collection.

I never cared that much about X-Factor.

I know, it's shocking to be on the X-Men board and have people who read comics.
