Thanks for the new thread, Sarah!
 As I was saying in the previous thread, I think Pvt. Hudson was endearing. Sure, he was annoying, but he added some levity to the tension and suspense of Aliens. I remember seeing the movie in the theater and the audience always laughed when Hudson brought the comic relief.  But I do agree that Paxton's later roles are what brought him much more acclaim.  I also liked him in Apollo 13 a lot.__________________

You've got a point
 he was annoying but hilarious with the comic relief Guess during my month off should do Jessica Jones + Luke Cage  think another is being released too on Netflix in March__________________

Not a fan of Jessica Jones. I wanted to see a Power Man & Iron Fist movie or TV show.
And yes, I like calling Luke Cage by his original title, Power Man. I have no idea what people think is wrong with that name.__________________

I saw the first half of Jessica Jones and didn't like it
but need to give it another tryIron Fist is the one that is coming to Netflix  __________________

Those look good.
I'd still prefer one with both of them together. That's the comic I grew up on. Luke still had hair then. But these Marvel shows still seem quite removed from the MCU.__________________

That's Daredevil's stomping ground. I remember that Power Man & Iron Fist were usually located further north in Manhattan.

This is how I like to remember them.
Back when Luke and Danny were the same height. Lately Marvel has magically made Luke about 6 inches taller or Danny shorter in the comics.  __________________

I didn't find Pvt Hudson funny.
But then the only Aliens film I liked was the 4th one. And that prequel by Ridley Scott was total garbage.I think casting that GOT guy as Iron Fist is ridiculous. He doesn't have the hardness to play a master martial artist. I hate it when tough characters are cast with pretty actors instead of actors who can play tough. But then I was never much of a fan of Power Man and Iron Fist. Oh and their height difference goes way back. If you look up the 1983 Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe, Power man is listed at 6'8" and iron Fist at 5'11". __________________

Really, sum1? The only films I liked in the series were Alien and Aliens, the Ridley Scott and James Cameron films. But I agree that Prometheus was a mess.
 Wow, I don't remember there being that much of a height discrepancy between Luke and Danny back then. And I really don't remember Luke being that tall.  I remember when he and Spider-Man first met after Gwen Stacy died, when J. Jonah Jameson hired Luke to take Spider-Man in, and there didn't seem to be too much of a height difference, and Peter is only 5'11.__________________
