Thanks Theresa! It is awesome how well The Greatest Showman is doing in terms of its staying power! I hope that teaches the critics a lesson!

The critics aren't good at learning.

That's why I love hearing about how well The Greatest Showman is doing. Hugh deserves the success.

So it's official! Hugh Jackman got zero Oscar nominations this year. None for Logan and none for The Greatest Showman. HOWEVER, social media is erupting with hundreds of people saying Hugh was snubbed for either Logan, The Greatest Showman, or both. I love that! He's won the people's hearts! I'll post some examples later.

Hugh should have received a nomination for Logan. Patrick Stewart as well. Logan for Best Picture. This is ignorance.

The Oscars always suck.

Didn't expect him to be nominated for either. At least both movies got a nomination.

I didn't expect him to be nominated either because the Academy sucks, but Hugh Jackman certainly deserved to be nominated for at least one of them and it is beautiful to see how many people feel the same way on social media and even on comments to articles about the Oscars.

Eh, both movies each deserved more than 1 mere nomination.

I see so many tweets like this. There are so many more, but here are a few:

Thanks for all those tweets, Theresa!

Man, one nomination for Logan in the screenwriting categories and nothing else? Nothing for Dafne, Patrick, or Hugh? And of course, nothing for The Greatest Showman. Hollywood can go themselves. I hope this Harvey Weinstein backlash burns them all to the ground. I've forgotten what was supposed to be so great about them in the first place.

At least audiences have guaranteed that The Greatest Showman will always be remembered.

That's nice to see. Logan was probably the performance of Jackman's career.

Thanks for the link, Theresa.

I agree, sum1. Logan was one of Hugh's best movies in a while.

It's got more kick than anything else I can remember seeing him in. I didn't see Prisoners. I should see that sometime.

My favorite Hugh performance is The Greatest Showman, then Les Miserables and Logan are tied, then Prisoners. I’ll admit singing and dancing smiley charismatic Hugh is my favorite. I consider him the best all around entertainer of this generation.
