I hope things turn out good for Dark Phoenix, LightYears.
What's more ironic the thing (WB/AT&T deal) that got Comcast to bid on Fox, is the same thing that got them to quit bidding on Fox. It's interesting they removed X-Men from the title.

Let's not jump to any conclusions, dragonfire. The Gifted is still on schedule, and the problems that New Mutants and Dark Phoenix have had were about the movies themselves, not the Disney/Fox deal. I've heard that the early screenings for New Mutants were so bad that Fox might just scrap the movie altogether and work the New Mutants into an X-Force movie. Making The New Mutants a horror movie was stupid idea. I'm still waiting to hear on Dark Phoenix because of the reshoots and Sophie Turner's scheduling conflicts.

Yeah, making the New Mutants into horror was an awful idea.

Yep, and the director knows nothing about the comics. They're comparing it to the Fantastic Four remake.

I'll wait until more official news come out, rather than believing some random user who claims to be an insider on SuperHeroHype Forums.

I agree, LightYears. I'm still sure that Dark Phoenix is gonna come out on time.

They would lose millions if they cancel Dark Phoenix. If they release a trailer soon, it should get a theatrical release. As for New Mutants, if it's not released in theaters, there are rumors that it might be released on Disney's streaming service. Both movies will release in one way or another, even if they turn out badly or mediocre.

That's what I thought, LightYears. Dark Phoenix is almost finished, so it wouldn't make sense to scrap it. I just hope that it turns out okay. I think that if they want to fix New Mutants they might do what you suggested, and then use some of the characters in X-Force.

Well, the director doesn't know much about comics, so it's pretty much the usual.

I know, right? This is the same thing that happened with The Fantastic Four.
