Thanks for that interview with Ellen
  Why do you like Storm? Halle has done a fantastic job with Storm  Do wished that we got more back story on her though. We see a lot of her yes and she has alot of amazing scenes but at the same time we don't get anything of development __________________

I like her in the movies and can completely understand why she's quite likable from both the cartoons/movies
 just felt that the movies didn't develop her; cause isn't she suppose to be a Princess from another country or was it world  She does have the leadership ability and even if Scott died where it ended up being her in X3 that becomes the leader; it felt right So I see she can be a leader but would like for all 3 of the mains {Scott-Jean-Storm} to build schools of their own and all be leaders  __________________

True, that movies didn't develop Storm so much. She was such a likeable and badass character in the cartoons & comics. They could have done so much for Storm and Halle is a wonderful actress.

Would have loved to have seen that; maybe with the timeline re starting  we can get proper development__________________

I'm in the minority - I liked Storm a lot in the cartoon but her movie portrayal wasn't as good as I hoped. I thought for sure she'd have the accent. I thought we'd see a lot of her teaching and leading. But I also didn't think she needed the focus. Much of Storm is what she does in the background.

I'm in two minds about her movie version because I would have liked some back story but again limited by movies; they picked to focus their attention on Logan/Rogue/Jean associated to giving them loads of story. Professor X and Magneto necessarily didn't need any but wished that some others had focus *cough*Scott*cough*  so guess that's my opinion on Storm; not sure if it was needed like you said she was more background in the cartoonsAt the same time on Storm being bitter about what happened to Scott and hearing that Halle wanted more money; is that why Scott died and she was too take over from Professor X dying  Mainly am indifferent on Storm  thought Halle did a fantastic job and her taking over for Professor X makes sense, but at the expense of Scott __________________

I know a lot of you regard her as one of your favourites, but for me a lot of is about Halle and how she treated the role. Even how she treated the Nightcrawler character. But you know in X-men DOFP, it was better handled.

I guess it does. But I still felt her portrayal was not that good but I guess, knowledge of the character affects that somewhat.
