Storm in the comics is one of my favorite female Marvel comic book characters. The only other one I like as much is Kitty Pryde. Other favorites include Rogue, Rachel Summers, She-Hulk and Monica Rambeau (the second Captain Marvel). I also like Domino quite a bit. Her and Cable make a good team.
The thread title: "She's the nurturer of the group. To me she's the quintessential earth mother." - Halle The thread title shows the side of Storm that Halle Berry chose to portray, but what about Storm's harder side? She's not just a nuturer, she's a warrior and a hardass. She could hold her own in battle against superhuman foes when she had no powers (it happened in the '80s comics). She has a very tough, strong personality. Calling her a nurturer and leaving it at that kind of implies someone gentler than Storm is in the comics. Storm in the comics is not someone you want to mess with. I just added Alexandra Shipp to the thread title. I think she got Storm better. Anybody got any art for Alexandra Shipp's Storm, that we can add to the OP? __________________

I though that Halle was too old and too famous to play Storm. It was overcasting. But then, most of the cast was too old.

I don't have a problem with Storm being older or played by a famous actor. These X-Men have been fighting their battle for quite some while.

Yeah, but Halle Berry was too famous to be playing a character who didn't have much in the way of a central story. Everything was focused on Wolverine, and since then things have been focused on either Erik/Raven/Charles or Scott/Jean.
