Yep, that's pretty much when the entire Marvel comics universe began, Sarah.
1963-1964. Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Hulk, Ant-Man/Giant-Man and Wasp, The Avengers, Thor, and X-Men all came out around that time. The only major Marvel characters that pre-date that are Captain America, Sub-Mariner, and the original Human Torch, Jim Hammond, all of whom came out in 1939-1940. Scott and Jean are two of the longest running X-Men, along with Bobby, Warren, and Hank. __________________
