Maybe, but I don't think we can be sure of much else. Who could have predicted how much they changed areound the X-Men story from the comics when they First Class?

I think the difference is look who was behind First Class and look who's behind Deadpool 2.

I'm talking about look at the Director/Writers behind First Class they didn't really looked to the comics. Now look at the Director/Writers behind Deadpool 2 I think they are looking to the comics. So when it comes to doing the source material I think Cable is in good hands.

I will need to trust you guys on the comics as never read them but I am glad to hear they did look to the source material that they just decided to change stuff around.

I do love Jean and Scott and I am hoping they are done well with the new films

Pissed off they didn't make Banshee Irish, though. He is in the comics, from County Mayo. And his evil cousin Black Tom is best pals with Juggernaut, who's NOT a mutant and is NOT Vinnie Jones and is Xavier's stepbrother.
