The MCU should have left Wanda and Quicksilver alone. A third rate screen portrayal of Wanda and a dead Quicksilver was not worth de-mutantizing the twins. And if the MCU hadn't butted in, the X-Men movies could have two children for Magneto, not just one.

1000% agree with Sum
 The killing of Peter|Quicksilver in Avengers was  plus was very related to their time in the movie - MCU should have just left well alone and allowed X-Men to do their thing especially having both twins which honestly would have been more interesting than now where each has one and neither can do bothDidn't mind Wanda for Civil War but again both movies were small compared to what could be Granted Civil War ended showing that Cap is making his own team?__________________

Well, I think the MCU's thinking was that Wanda/Scarlet Witch is identified so much with the Avengers that they had to get her in there someway. Wanda is more aligned with the Avengers than she ever was with the X-Men, so it seems like Marvel and Fox made a trade. Marvel kept Wanda and killed off Quicksilver, and Fox kept Quicksilver and didn't introduce Wanda.
