Yeah, Emma Roberts is very good-looking. And she has energy in her personality, which is interesting.

Thanks for those links, LightYears!

Yep, and I really liked Emma's performances in American Horror Story and Scream Queens. I hope she gets more movie roles soon. I heard she was one of the actresses being considered for Batgirl.

So who got Batgirl? (And why can't they call her Batwoman?)

The casting for Batgirl hasn't been announced. Batgirl and Batwoman are separate characters.

That's screwed up. Can't they call her something else apart from "girl"? I mean, Batman isn't called Batboy.

Yes, I know, LightYears. All I've heard is that Emma was one of the actresses considered for the role.

It's probably the same reason that Supergirl isn't called Superwoman, sum1. They have a Wonder Woman, but Diana is far older and more mature. Kara is Clark's much younger cousin, hence the Supergirl moniker. Likewise, Barbara Gordon was barely out of her teens when she first became Batgirl, hence the youthful name. She was still in college and studying to become the super-tech genius that would serve her well later on as Oracle. And I'm guessing she got so used to being called Batgirl that the name stuck. Batwoman is a totally different character, much older and darker.

Hey, at least Susan Storm stopped being the Invisible Girl and went to being called Invisible Woman.

Well, Jean Grey was called Marvel Girl back in the day, remember?

At this point I don't know if Emma is still in the running. It would be interesting, as her boyfriend Evan is in the X-Universe.

Yeah, but they got past calling her Marvel Girl. They got with the times. It seems DC didn't.
