Yeah, Ryan Murphy is pretty messy with his writing. I'll still watch his shows though.

Too much misogyny, misandry, shallowness and general bull in his shows for my taste.

And for a gay man, Ryan Murphy seems to have an unusual understanding of straight men's obsession with threesomes and girl-girl stuff. He fills his shows with that too. Evan Peters' characters on AHS have had at least three menage a trois.

What straight men's obsession with threesomes and "girl-girl" stuff? I'm a straight man and I'm not into threesomes and "girl-girl" stuff.

Really? You're one of the few then, sum1. I don't presume to speak for all men, but from what I've seen it's like kryptonite for most of us. That' why the media always exploits it, sadly. Comics and TV shows know that young male readers and viewers are likely to be titillated by bisexual female characters and superheroes, and it's supposed to be a coincidence that so many female superheroes these days are suddenly bisexual? Wonder Woman, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, Sara Lance, Mystique, Psylocke, Felicia Hardy/Black Cat, etc? Ya know?

I think it's a stereotype that a lot of men feel they have to conform to. I don't think it's necessarily what men are reallly into.

I'll remain silent on that one.

But I do think it's a bit odd that all these bisexual female comic book characters are showing up. Marvel and DC are starting to resemble a late night Cinemax movie.

They're showing up because the majority of people now see being gay as ok and the comic companies want diversity.

But they're not gay, sum1. They're bisexual. You really think that Selina Kyle won't always be in love with Bruce Wayne? Or Wonder Woman either for that matter? Or that Felicia Hardy won't always carry a torch for Peter Parker? Sara Lace is bisexual on the CW shows, yet her main ships have been Oliver Queen and Leonard Snart. The only full-on lesbian character I've seen is Batwoman, who has no romantic interest in men. But women who are bisexual are always gonna be a male turn on, which is why I hold comic book companies suspect and I don't buy into the "diversity" explanation.
