Exactly. They didn't even leave any room for the Dark Phoenix storyline. And a lot of the Dark Phoenix storyline involved the Hellfire Club, which they obviously didn't even use.

Yeah, Emma Frost and Sebastian Shaw and others. That was when they were first introduced.

Yep, when Emma Frost was introduced as White Queen. They wanted Jean to join them as the Red Queen. All of the leaders of the Hellfire Club were named after playing cards.

And Selene eventually became the Black Queen. She's the oldest mutant, not Apocalypse. Something like 20,000 years old. Supposed to have been around during "An Age Undreamt of", aka Conan's time.

You mean the Hyborian age, sum1? I was never sure if that was actually canon in the 616 universe, or an alternate one. I did love the Conan/Red Sonja comics.

Yeah, I think the Hellfire Club was painfully underused in the movies, especially Emma Frost.

FOX had plans to develop a TV show about the Hellfire Club, but scrapped it due to cinematic potential. I think we'll see them again in a future X-Men movie at some point. Unsure if it'll be the same cast from First Class. There are also rumors that the next main X-Men movie will be about The Dark Phoenix Saga.

They tied the X-Men directly into it in the mid-'80s.

They did? I wasn't sure. I assumed Conan and Red Sonja were parallel to the Marvel universe. It seemed like a difficult continuity to link together. But still cool.

I ing hate it when TV shows get tanked because of the damn movies! CW can't use Hal Jordan/Green Lantern, or Blue Beetle, or most of the other characters because WB wants to use them in the movies. They can't even use Deathstroke on Arrow anymore, or Suicide Squad. The Flash keeps hinting at Hal Jordan but can't ever use him. I feel that TV is better at developing these stories because movies have to condense everything down to two hours. And movies always want everything to be epic, and don't even delve into the more intimate storylines. Can you see someone making a Spider-Man movie based on The Death of Jean DeWolffe? Or Kraven's Last Hunt? Those would be awesome, but the spineless twits at Sony and Marvel Studios would never go for it.

I do hope they bring back the Hellfire Club if they intend to do the Dark Phoenix storyline in the next X-Men movie. And they'd better get Dark Phoenix right this time instead of screwing up like X-3: The Last Stand. I'd also like to see Emma Frost get another shot.

I wouldn't mind a Jean/Laura team up. I also wouldn't mind a Scott/Jean/Laura threesome. I mean, she's the female Wolverine, so it makes sense. It would be a challenge, though. Scott would have to pleasure two women while wearing ruby quartz so he doesn't blast a hole in anything. Jean's a telepath, so she'd not only feel her climax, but Scott and Laura's as well, and as a telekinetic she could literally shake the entire bedroom if she loses it. And Laura would have to be careful not to accidentally pop her adamantium claws during an orgasm, because it's bad enough when women dig their nails in your back, but those could really leave a mark.
