First time re-watching Sophie as Jean Grey only saw the latest full feature movie once

Personally I'm sick of the Tom Cruise Hobbit jokes. There are plenty of reasons to find fault with Tom Cruise, but his height is not one of them.

Again, no offense meant, sum1. And by faults I'm assuming you mean his scientology, correct?

I haven't watched The Blacklist or its spin-off, but I've heard they're good.

I was channel surfing and I happened upon the Clive Barker movie, Lord of Illusions, with Famke and Scott Bakula. She's really young here, but still looks nothing like Jean, to be honest.

I hope so too. Hollywood seems to have real problems adapting the Dark Phoenix storyline. It's not that difficult. Eliminating the extraterrestrial element of the Phoenix might seem to them like simplifying the process, but it actually makes it more difficult because it takes away the entire reason for the Phoenix's existence. If it's just a secondary mutation of Jean's, then that really kind of makes her too dangerous to exist, doesn't it? But if you can get rid of it, then you don't constantly have to make Jean some martyr.

I would guess not knowing about about the comics but my guess is that it needs to be a singular storyline spaced over a course of a movie or movies - which is where Last Stand failed because it had the movie primarily about the cure and that's where I felt Dark Phoenix failed within that movie. Wasn't given justice even if I don't know anything about the storyline
