No, Disney owns Marvel. But only Marvel represents Marvel. They were totally separate prior to ten years ago. But Disney knows nothing about Marvel Comics, and Marvel never had anything to do with Disney. It's like combining Japanese anime with Mother Goose rhymes.

I know Disney owns Marvel. You know to connect MCU X-Men to the MCU they could have Charles be an ex-SHIELD agent who knows Fury, and Fury secretly knows about Charles and the X-Men, and Charles doesn't want Fury/SHIELD to get their hands on the X-Men.

I think I've had quite enough of everyone being connected to SHIELD, dragonfire. Years from now fans are gonna ridicule the MCU for making everything so SHIELD-centric because it's on complete overload. Besides, Charles and SHIELD makes no sense.
