Funny, I thought you'd told me you'd read Jim Lee's run on Fantastic Four, which was one of the Heroes Reborn titles.

Nope, I wasn't reading any comics after 1993. I sometimes read them at the book store, but I wasn't buying them anymore. And I didn't know Jim was doing FF. I saw his stuff for Batman, like Hush.

I know. It's also a Jim Lee-drawn and Jeph Loeb-written Batman comic.

The Spider Man Clone saga was after 1993 and you read that.

Yeah, and I only read that by browsing comics at the book store. But I didn't buy any of them. That storyline actually made me angry.

I think it pissed off everyone. But at least it turned out to be a big fake out, kind of like Superior Spider-Man.

It wasn't a fake out, They actually intended for Ben Reilly to be the real Peter Parker. They just changed their minds because it was unpopular.

Are you sure? I'm glad they didn't because that would've sucked. And I'm sure that no matter what they probably would've retconned that anyway.

I'm going to bed now, sum1, so I'll talk to you tomorrow. Goodnight and sleep well!

Wow, I can't believe that Marvel would've even thought of doing that. But again, they probably would've retconned that anyway. Brand New Day and all that, you know?

When, in the 90's? I think Marvel's bankruptcy might've had something to do with it. The 70's and 80's comics were the best.

It wasn't just the bankruptcy. Marvel did some desperate things both before and after their bankruptcy. Like taking out Wolverine's damantium (1993) and regressing him into an ape-man (1995), years before they went bankrupt. But there were some great things in the '90s too. Comics got more intense and forceful that decade.
