Yeah, but he never had a steady sidekick, you know? It was just jubilee tagging along, or Kitty tagging along, or Rogue tagging along.

Rogue didn't tag along much.

No, she didn't. But that's my point, Wolverine never had a steady sidekick like Bucky, Robin, or Kid Flash. I preferred him that way.

Jubilee was pretty steady in the early '90s.

Damn 90's. I wasn't collecting much then due to financial issues.

Yet from what I've heard, it was a pretty good decade for comics. I just wish Marvel hadn't gone bankrupt and sold off all their stuff.

There was good and there was bad. I feel it took a turn for the worse around the middle of the decade.

But wasn't that around the time of the Age of Apocalypse? The only thing I disliked about the 90's was the damn Spider-Clone saga.

Well, the X-books went downhill right after the Age of Apocalypse and I think the other stuff was going to crap around then too. The Clone saga included some issues with quality JRJR art, so I'm not totally against it.

Oh, so after they fixed the timeline and Xavier was alive again, things went downhill? This was before the X-Men film came out? I usually assume that X-Men went downhill after that.

It went downhill more after the film, but it started to go downhill in mid '95. Not just the X-Men, but all the X-books, pretty much. Which is why a few years later I eventually stopped reading superhero comics. And those years included the Onslaught mess which led to the bloody Heroes Reborn farrago.

It wasn't a tv show. It was when Marvel gave Iron Man, Avengers, Fantastic Four and Captain America to Jim Lee, Rob Liefeld, Whilce Portacio and others to screw around with. It lasted about a year and then Marvel relaunched the titles. Thor got disrupted too, but in a different way.
