Groovy was the 60s, dragonfire. It was a slang term the hippies used. In the 70s, by the time people started hearing it every week on The Brady Bunch, people got sick of it. In the 70s people were saying things like "solid!" and "right on!"

Gyrich was a pain in the X-men's butts long ago. He's the one that took away Storm's powers in 1984.

Not just them, but also the Avengers. He's the moron who came up with the seven-member rule(later six) that limited the number of Avengers who could serve on the team. He hate capes in general, not just mutants.

Really? I assumed it first got used in the 1990s and it was Marvel's version of Watchmen's use of the word, "masks."
