I finally saw the movie. It was good. Minimum of bull, business-like action. Dafne Keen was great as Laura. She really got the Wolverine thing right. Give me a character like this any day over Star Wars' older but less convincingly mature Rey. Where Rey comes off too nice and soft to be the character she's supposed to be or have the strength she's supposed to have, Dafne went the whole way. She reminded me of Natalie Portman in Leon and Chloe Moretz in Kick Ass, but she was doing very much her own thing and doing a great job adapting the Wolverine persona and savagery. She workd as a great team with Hugh, who gave a great final Wolverine performance.

The cyborg guys, the Reavers, are old X-Men villains from the late '80s and beginning of the '90s. They were a band of raiders who targeted banks around the world via teleportation. They were based in the Australian Outback. The X-Men put them out of business and took over their base. Later they came back to get their revenge.

I watched this a few weeks ago. I had no idea what to expect because I'm not a comic book reader. Alot different than like the X-men movies. But I liked it but surprised by the end to be honest.

I agree with sum on the little girl that played Laura. She barely talked but the noises she did make along with like her facial expressions definitely got her point across.
