I don't think that Fox network is gonna just cancel a show that's doing well for them no matter who owns the network. If The Gifted's ratings are good enough they can work something out. No need to cancel a show because it's not set in the damn MCU.

 The production values and effects have improved. Morlocks? Cool to see the dragon/demon lady return. Is Reed reactivating his X-gene?  Looks like Eclipse might go full Sunspot.Hmm, Marvel have uploaded it to their channel as well. Maybe Disney is looking to keep this show. __________________

Yeah, but I don't think that Fox is just gonna cancel a show that's doing well for them. If The Gifted comes back strong then they're probably not just gonna cancel it because of the Disney/Fox merger.
