Walt? He'd probably think that this wasn't the studio he founded anymore. It's become more like Warner Bros. and Universal.

Yep, I don't think Walt Disney would like the direction the studio has gone, which is far and away what he wanted it to be. Disney's trying to compete by taking properties that other studios created, which for me is dishonest.

Exactly! It's not like any of this stuff fits the Disney aesthetic, and Disney's just taking other people's accomplishments.

And M. Night Shyamalan said that when he made Unbreakable for Disney, they didn't want to market it as a superhero movie and didn't want the film to reference comic books because they said it was a niche audience full of "those people who go to conventions," and would repel mainstream audiences. Ironic, huh?

Exactly, Rita. This is why I hate Disney taking over both Marvel and Star Wars.

The Disney people don't know the first thing about these stories, and they've done nothing but ruin Star Wars. They had to make Rey(Mary Sue) their new hero so they dismantled Luke Skywalker in order to do that.
