Ugh, more of Hollywood's PC casting. She looks nothing like the character. Domino looks more like something out of Japanese anime.

Not only that, but she's too young for the role. I hope Cable and Domino won't become a couple in any of the future movies, because I really don't want to see Josh Brolin kissing someone

Ugh, what is up with Josh Brolin's late bloom in Hollywood? After The Goonies this guy had pretty much disappeared during the 90's and 2000's, and now he's everywhere.
So do you think that X-23 will appear in a Deadpool movie, or are they saving her for X-Force? __________________

I believe X-23 will get a solo movie first, and if she were to appear in any of the other movies, it'll probably be X-Force.

I don't see why there should be any problem with age differences between two people in a romance, as long as they're both adults. Older men with youngr women, older women with younger men... it's all ok. We have to be flexible in what we accept in relationships. Once upon a time people wouldn't accept mixed race relationships or same-sex relationships. They had to learn to be flexible too.

You have a good point. I can accept it. Doesn't mean I have to like it though.

I hope the movie explains how Cable shrunk.

I completely agree. I am so damn sick of that. I'm glad Kaya Scodelario brought it up recently as well.

Certainly there is a problem with Hollywood's treament of older actresses. But you might equally say Hollywood is prejudiced against younger males, if it's usually pairing off the younger actresses with older males. How often are "young hero" types played by men in their thirties or forties? More often than not.
But it's not reasonable to hide ageism against older men being paired with younger actresses behind a pretence of feminism, as is often done now. There needs to be more casting of older women with older males and younger males with younger women, but the disgust directed at pairings of differently-aged actors needs to be thrown out. As regards Hollywood ageism against older women, the classic example is Leia/Carrie Fisher in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, given little screen time and little to do and kept subdued, then slammed by fans for no longer looking young. I'd much rather watch a film about Carrie Fisher's older Leia than about Daisy Ridley's extremely young Rey. __________________

It's trendy to bring it up. People who bring it up tend to pretend they're doing it to fight a feminist battle for gender equality, but it's often just motivated by an "Oooh, an old guy, yuck" type of ageist prejudice.
