The funny thing is Captain America's attitude in the Civil War story, particularly in the movie, actually matches Bush's politics more than Tony's does. Tony's viewpoint matches that of the UN. Cap's views could be used to justify the Iraq war.

True, but they also used Cap's point of view to be against Bush era policies like the Patriot Act or something. Both Steve and Tony didn't come off really well in that storyline, which is why I really wish Marvel hadn't bothered.

Marvel/Disney is ruining things due to movies being made by committee, not by what's right.

Yeah, but they'd make just as much money by sticking to the comics, if not more so. They just don't have faith in the material, which is why I question why they should even call themselves Marvel Studios, since they don't seem to like comic books much.
