You've been added, Clarice. We don't really have a supporters list on this thread. You're the only one.

Thanks, LightYears! OMG, they're doing Dune again? They've done it twice already.

And they've got Timothee Chalamet as Paul Atriedes, which is ridiculous.

Never heard of him, but the whole project sounds like crap to me, complete with uber-PC casting. I hope it flops gloriously. It will always be compared to David Lynch's 1984 original, and that one also flopped. The Sci-Fi Channel miniseries wasn't that much better. Dune is just too damn difficult to make work in a single film. Oh, and Zendaya is also in it. Why is Hollywood so desperate to make this overrated Disney kid a star?

I wish you'd quit carping about Zendaya. She was quite good in the Spider Toddler movie.

Well, she was hardly in the Spider-Toddler movie, sum1. I think she had a total of 15 minutes of screen time, so I really don't get why the MCU promotes her. Especially since she's not playing a canonical character. For me she's just one more example of everything that's wrong with MCU Spider-Man. I wanted the grown up Peter Parker in the stories from the 80s that involved Black Cat and Silver Sable.

She was in the Spider Toddler movie enough to make an impression.

Not much of an impression for me. She was hardly important to the story. I still think she was only there because she's a Disney kid.

No, she was there to set up the romance in the second film.

Yeah, but I don't really like it when movies do that. It makes one movie seem like an advertisement for another movie. That was one of the many problems with Avengers: Age of Ultron. It was basically advertising Infinity War while paying mediocre service to the Ultron storyline.

I didn't have big problems with Age of Ultron.

Well, did you have any little problems with it? I think it's redundant since Marvel will obviously redo the Ultron storyline eventually, perhaps in the 2020s.
