Rewatching Thor: Ragnarok. The way the film makes a joke of everything gets on my nerves, but I've got to admit, Tessa Thompson is damn good as the Valkyrie. Not really the character from the comics, but better.

Okay, I won't go into Valkyrie's ethnic switch, sum1.  I like Tessa Thompson in Westworld and Creed, but a Valkyrie is a Nordic mythological character. I feel the same about The Ancient One.__________________

Thor Ragnarok is a fun film, but it annoys me that they don't seem to feel the Thor material can be taken seriously.

I did like it when Goldblum referred to Asgard as Ass-Guard, though. And Ass-Berg and Ass-Place.

James Gunn ruined Marvel's cosmic storyline with his immature nonsense.  I don't mind a little comic relief, like in Iron Man, but they basically let James Gunn get away with the stuff they didn't want from Edgar Wright in his Ant-Man film that made him quit. __________________

The first Guardians of the Galaxy film was good fun. It was the second one that went wrong. That was a load of crap.

I don't think it's an issue of liking Stallone or not. I think it's more about him not being appropriate for the role.

Westworld Yeah, what sum1 said, Matt.  If you look at Starhawk in the comics, he doesn't look like a 5'10" Italian guy. I do like Stallone in the films that he was good in. :nod Rocky, First Blood, Nighthawks, Copland, etc.__________________
