No, they don't, but that's b/c FC changed their history. In the first trilogy, it followed from the comics. FC changed things a bit,but they were good changes.

So I guess we are good to go on starting all over again after DOFP. Obviously these two need to sort things out but do you all think they might give it a shot again or is it all over for these two now that Mystique is on Magneto's side?

I'm probably being a Pollyanna,but Magneto tried to kill her and she shot him. I don't see her warming up to him anytime soon. Hank can be there for her and pick up the pieces.

Yeah,she's not THAT dysfunctional. Siding with Charles doesn't mean Hank is ashamed. It just means that he sees no point in violence or antagonizing humans. I'd like to think that with everything in DOFP,she sees sense for more than 5 minutes.

Oh boy. Would be interesting if Beast/Mystique can mend fences again but I reckon Mystique will be loyal to Magneto in the end.

So do I-She loves her some bad boys. Plus, Mystique has problems. Her leaving Charles and Hank was just the beginning. She leaves everyone in her life,aside from Magneto and her partner. It's unhealthy,but so is abandoning your baby for not being a mutant and picking a demon to have an affair with. She'll be faithful to Magneto in the movies,but even if she goes back to Hank,she'll run like hell when Magneto escapes or when it's about to get real. When they do Sinisted(They'd be crazy not to),they'll start to show her crazy side. Unless Rebecca Romaine gets to-She's used to that side of her.

Oh well-In my head,they have a torrid, on and off again thing going on.

They really should. I mean,even a little would be nice. They don't need to have her interact with Sabertooth,Nightcrawler or Rogue. Bobby is a moot point since he's a kid in the movies, but they can show the shiesty things she's done,like marry a senator so she can have say in things,pose as an informant to S.H.I.E.L.D. and so on. It would be a waste and she's as complicated as Wolverine is. Marvel needs to give her a solo project like they're going to with Black Widow and Avengers.

I would definitely like more background on Mystique in the movies. Her story is very interesting.

Well,they need to base it on possibilities. They plan to do a Black Widow movie because she's so popular. They'd never give Kitty or Rogue their own spin-offs. Mystique and Logan deserve it because their characters are both old, they'd both done enough to make multiple movies and they've been in various teams. Kitty would be in another movie if they made an Excalibur movie. They could utilize Alex more and have him in the X-Force movie,but for all I know, they probably will.

Marvel is going crazy and I'm sure you guys have heard of the CA spin-off show. God, they're doing Ant-man.

Hank can't have his own spin-off because of his personality. He was in X-Factor,X-Men and he's been offered chances to work with S.H.I.E.L.D.
