Someone else huh? Someone like Feige? Abrams? Johnson? Kennedy? Or maybe even Wright?
Oh, I see. Sorry. I really hope they don't do that, though. And I still don't understand why they'd make a movie about her. Who cares when you have Black Cat?

No, none of them. Someone better, who actually knows what they hell they're doing.

It's ok. Why? Look at the bright side. At least they're not having him do Black Cat.

Of, course, the combination of Quesada, Slott, and Bendis.

The more important question is Why Is Marvel So Obsessed With Gwen Stacy?

I agree, dragonfire, but I'd rather they not do Jackpot at all. I don't like Marvel giving media facetime to characters who haven't earned it, while sidelining characters who have.

No, not those jerks either, dragonfire.

I honestly have no idea. I think these are all geeks who felt sorry for Gwen when they were just kids and teenagers, and now they're all grown up and working for Marvel and I guess they want to make it up to her, forgetting the reason why she was killed off in the first place... she just wasn't a very good character and her death was part of Peter Parker's character arc as he passed from adolescence into manhood.

Well, it's not Marvel doing Jackpot it's Sony.

Imagine if that trio made a live-action version of One More Day.

That's it. If Gwen's death is forgotten about then Peter can't pass from adolescence into manhood. Disney/Marvel can keep him as the teen version, also keep Gwen as Spider-Gwen/Ghost-Spider, and with no adolescence into manhood no Peter/Mary Jane married.

Yeah, but it's still in association with Marvel Studios, right? Even if it's not the MCU. But it's not like Sony knows what the hell they're doing either.

Please, don't get me started.

Gwen's death hasn't been forgotten, but all these alternate reality versions of her just diminish what her death meant. And Disney/Marvel can't keep him as a teen because he's not a teen in the comics. Keeping him a teen in the movies is silly and wrong, and it makes the studio execs look stupid.

OMG, Nightcrawler and Scarlet Witch had a daughter? When the hell did this happen?

I would be surprised if Feige has anything to do with it.

The trailer music could be Hold On by Wilson Phillips, and after One More Day the trio can make the live-action sequel Brand New Day with Changes by David Bowie as the trailer music.

Ok.

I don't know but I hope Raven&Eric are proud Grandparents.

I know Feige has nothing to do with it, but he's not the only idiot in Hollywood.

OMG, Wilson Phillips? One More Day. Good one, dragonfire. I still don't want Gwen back.

Wait, Nightcrawler is Eric and Raven's son? When the hell did all this happen?

Thanks for that link. I honestly thought that Tony would give Clark a little more of a fight than that.

OMG, I was looking through old covers and guess what? Superman and Adam Warlock did team up! Now Adam would give Clark a run for his money.

True.

Yep. Thanks. Ok. You know I wonder when they'll make a live-action Spider-Gwen/Ghost-Spider movie.

No I said that cause Eric is Wanda's Dad, and Raven is Kurt's Mom.

No problem. I guess Tony didn't hide his neck from Clark.

Adam better hide his neck from Clark.

Great, now Diana can lift Thor's hammer?

Please, the less Gwen the better. Again, the fact that they're gonna put Gwen in a movie before Felicia drives me crazy.

Oh, yeah. The way you phrased that it was like you were implying that Eric and Raven conceived Nightcrawler together.

Clark didn't break his neck, he punched his armor to pieces.

dragonfire, Adam Warlock beat Thanos and was briefly the Supreme Being of the universe. He's died and been resurrected, and he's pretty much the most powerful hero in the Marvel universe.

I guess.

They already did that. Gwen has been in like 4 movies already. Spider-Man 3, Amazing Spider-Man 1&2, and Into the Spiderverse. If she's in Into the Spiderverse 2 then that makes 5 movies.

Sorry.

It's a joke to when Clark broke Zod's neck in Man of Steel. Of course, I think something much worse might happen to Clark than giving Zod a broke neck. So worse I don't know if he would ever live it down.

Ok.

Clark breaking Zod's neck was the best part of Man of Steel.

Yeah, I figured you were referencing Superman breaking Zod's neck. I guess just breaking his hand and throwing him into the depths of the Arctic don't cut it anymore. I still think Zod's death was set up better in Superman II, but that's just me.

Yes, I know she has, but that was Gwen in her original version, the one who died. We don't need the damn Ghost Spider Gwen in the movies.

I didn't mention Superman breaking Zod's neck until you did. That was dragonfire.
