Kusadasi is amazing and from there we went to Ephesus - now that is amazing

I've recently went to Stuttgart which was work-related but we managed to see parts of the city in our free time

No you don't. From Kusadasi to Selcuk, it is 20 minutes. Ephesus is basically in the Selcuk area. From our cruise ship when we stopped at Kusadasi, we took a coach ride to Ephesus which was 20 to 25 minutes. We came back to Kusadasi to spend time there before we boarded the ship to go to the next Greek Island. Turkey is an amazing country with so much history and culture.
