Istanbul is one of my favorite cities in the world. There is so much to do and see. The Spice Market is good but seeing Sultan Ahmet Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Dolmabahce Palace and a few others were great tourist places. Doing the Bosphorus Cruise, going on the Bosphorus Bridge to see the Asian side of Istanbul was wonderful. A day cruise to the Princes Island is a must - we went to Buyukada and did the horse and carriage around the island. The food in Istanbul was amazing especially the Iskender kebab. You have to go on top of the Galata Tower and you will see amazing views of Istanbul especially at sunset. On Galata Bridge, you will see fishermen trying the catch fish and underneath the bridge are fish restaurants which were good too. The Pieere Lotti Cable ride is good too. Many good mosques for tourists to see in the city too.
