Hi everyone. As most of you probably know, a tragic event took place at Virginia Tech today, where many innocent people lost their lives, and many more innocent people were injured. Tragic events like this can remind us all how precious life is, and it can also bring us all together as a community to express our condolences to the families of those whose lives were lost, and offer support to the families and friends of the victims of this senseless shooting, and offer support to our fellow posters who've been affected by this tragedy.

Therefore, I want to give everyone at Fan Forum the opportunity to come together and talk about this tragic event, and express your thoughts here. Thank you and God Bless you all.

I have two friends who go there, but thank goodness they are both okay (they're engineering students, so I wasn't sure). My prayers go out to anyone else who is affected

I have three friends who go there as well and thankfully, they're fine. My heart goes out to them all. The victims, everyone at VTech and all their families are in my thoughts and prayers.

This feels so much like the day of the Columbine shooting for me, only this is even more tragic, more lives were lost. My thoughts and prayers are definitely with the students, faculty, and family members. It all just seems so unfair.
