I start to apply the application plus one of application was asking for SS# and I was like click to exist it bec I ain't give it to anyone plus it's so weird to asking that since I apply some on comp..

Steph, that was smart to not give it, you should still be able to fill out the application without giving it though. That's the kind of information that should only be needed when the job is yours not before hand. Was it an online application? Maybe call the place and explain your concerns they might have other ways to apply if you really wanna work there

Yeah, but some that it need to have it even tho it was weird bec not all of them ask me for that, but it kind of random to have that on one apply, but glad that I didn't..

^ I'm sorry, Mandie. It's tough in the workplace at times. They gossip, a lot of favoritism. All I can say is try not to let it bother you. It frustrates me why we can't be all treated equally and fairly.

I hope everyone is succeeding with finding a job. Does anyone have any job interviews soon?

My clients are getting interviews for sure haha.

There's this position with an organization that we refer our clients to. It's with the board of trade, lots of space for promotion and the program is growing. Over the last 5 years I've seen it going from 3 to almost 10 counselors now. Plus, my ex-colleague is working there, I should try. I know the program already. I've searched for the current counselors' profile on LinkedIn and I was like "well if they got in why not me?".

Oh I forgot I mentioned that job opportunity in November. 2 days after I sent my resume, I found out (by a simple search with the name of the program) via LinkedIn that they hired their new guy. What frustrate me is that the guy doesn't have much experience and seems like fresh out of school. Social media ruins lives lol.

I'm seriously thinking about settling and trying to get my teaching certification. That's how badly my job hunting has been. It's going on a year without work
