If I did my ancestry research right, my grandmother's family (dad's side) is from Norway, so if I ever get a chance I think I might go to Norway and try to find out where they lived before they came to the US and settled in Iowa. I've seen pictures of Norway online and it is a beautiful country.
I'm curious why they left Norway and came to the United States. __________________
