Thursday? I got salmon tartare. I'm not sure what the two colleagues whose birthday it was ate (we always pay for their lunch).

Yesterday, I bought lime-flavoured sparkling water, tuna salad, mini pita breads, yogourt, chocolate cake, popcorn and butter-chicken and tandoori sauce.

And thanks for the new thread.

Does salmon taste extra "fishy"? Yeah, I can't explain what I mean, I guess what I'm wondering is if it's tartare, does it have a stronger taste?

Nothing for me today.

Fresh fish never tastes fishy to me. They have different textures and tastes, but to me it's not strong or fishy.

Salmon tartare is raw salmon, diced up very finely and mixed with ingredients like capers, onions and mustard. The one I had on Thursday was pretty spicy for me, actually. But I love sushi, so raw fish is not a problem for me.

Okay, thanks, It sounds like you really enjoy raw fish a lot. I don't know that I'd even give it a chance (I haven't seen it here, anywhere, already prepped), though I'd probably like it.

Nothing today.

There really just isn't a way in which I don't enjoy fish. Raw, cooked, grilled, braised, baked, cured, etc.

I bought a bunch of tea today. It was the last day of a special at David's Tea, so I had to take advantage of it.

I was gonna take a detour on my way home to buy vegetables, but the metro was acting up and I just went straight home. I didn't want to risk it.
