thanks for that. Yeah, l feel very lucky to own both. The Queen and Queen Mother wore those overcoats, and l suspect Prince Phillip and other royals own them too. They are one of the best overcoats ever made.

The peacoat is the ultra example of the finest ever made too. I was so lucky to have found it. One could search for years and never find one like this.

It is really great when one finds landmark pieces of clothing made to standards not seen in the world anymore. One of my greatest finds was an ultra rare shawl collar cashmere cardigan...nothing made in the world even approaches that quality anymore. Even in the old days it was rare and ultra exclusive. Luckily l was able to convince a bloke l knew to sell it to me...he had it stored away for years and it was basically like new. I am going to be putting it on soon.
