Humans can make new brain cells into their 90s, scientists discover They're looking for how people develop Alzheimer's. If they can achieve that, I think we would all benefit.

That looks like amazing news. it goes against the common belief that you only loose brain cells after you're born. Good news on the progress against dementia related illnesses, this is particularly pertinent as "boomers" age.

Well, from the article, I understood that those new brain cells might be the cause of the old-age dementia-like diseases. But science isn't my bag, like at all, so I could be wrong.
