I am on a dating site and its a real laugh to see the stupid things guys say.

^ That is my favorite part of dating sites. Men on them are so unfiltered and stupid. I had one guy ask me the other day if I would take a photo of my feet for him and send it to him, .

It's been two months since my ex-best friend abruptly stopped talking to me, and the more days that go by the more I don't miss her and am glad that she decided to pull this stupid move.

It kind of a bummer when someone you knew and we're friends with since 1998 officially deletes you as a FB friend. I know we didn't talk but at least being on FB allowed me to see she was having a good life and keeping a contact now she's chosen to break the last tie so that's that. I understand the logic but I don't like it. She was the first online friend I went to meet in person and I stayed with her for a week and it was also my first solo trip for me.

I can understand where you are coming from with that. I always hate when friends you have been in contact with decide that its time to cut ties. Sometimes it hurts.

It does hurt, but sometimes it is for the best. The heartbreak I had a couple of weeks ago, I knew I had to let him go, but it was still painful. I never knew where we stood as friends, so I decided that I could do better, but it still hurt when I finally did let him go. I was reading some old e-mails yesterday and I know that people change, but his seemed like it was from out of the blue. Still, I feel lighter now than I did before. My wall may be up higher than ever now, and I may be more cautious, but eventually someone will wow me enough to lower the wall or even destroy it all together. It's a far fetched idea, I know, but eventually I will let it happen.

Yeah it always takes a bit for me to let down the walls, especially in person. Online friends, it's easier for some reason.

I'm probably a little more cautious online, then again, I'm not online as much as I used to be. I'm a quiet person no matter the medium. My life is a simple, but complex life and I wouldn't have it any other way. I like my complexity. It keeps me on my toes anyway. Most can't get around that complexity.

No, but I should have. My right foot is all scarred up from surgery, it looks a mess.

As for the friend, yes. But what has been bothering me the most is she is posted all over social media that I'm a scumbag and it feels so good to have me out of my life. She was the problem, not me. Sometimes that irks me so much, she doesn't even think she's in the wrong.
