I am addictd to the movie RENT....have seen it at least 250 times. We own the DVD. Enjoy the movie, soundtrack, and bonus disc, too All very well done. Love the cast and their voices!!! The songs...music and lyrics are brilliant!!!

Yeah, but you've probably seen way more movies than any of us who have seen any given movie a large amount of times.

I'm not sure which movie I've seen the most. It's either The Sound of Music (my mother's favourite since before I was born) or Grease (my favourite since pretty much the day I was born). Possibly Cry-Baby.

I mean, those are movies that were on TV every other weekend when I was growing up, before we had a VCR. Having a VCR just put things into the stratosphere in terms of seeing them a whole lot.

I remember, when I was a kid, my mother, brother and I used to have weekends where we'd marathon the Star Wars trilogy or Gone With the Wind and the Scarett sequels... That was fun.

This weekend, I watched the Veronica Mars movie again.

Question, though: How (or is it, why?) does one re-alphabetize a DVD collection?

yes.

Well once the shelves were full, I couldn't add new ones in the right place without taking them all off and starting over.

but it did mean taking out most of the boxsets.

That's a good point, well made, Dave.

That's how I wound up lining them up on top of my bookcase, with paper weights on either side.

I've just gotten used to putting whatever new movie I get in the "right" place as I get it so that even the overflow is... I don't know, orderly.

Of course, there's a strong possibility that I'm bit too anal about all this.
