Money doesn't bring you happiness like love/affection does but it's nice when we do have it.

But, what would you do if you won the lottery or own money on a scratch card, have you ever won any money?


I've won a few hundred pounds playing Bingo before. I put it in my savings account. Felt really great winning something and thought I was on a winning streak so I tried my luck at the casino couple of weeks later and was unlucky. Very unlucky.
I'm usually not a gambler but I thought I would try it once.

If I won the jackpot I would definitely give a big chunk of it to various charities that I am emotionally devoted to!

Great idea for a thread, Vicki!

If I won a few million, I'd spend some money travelling the world, a moderate nice house by the sea, a few extra things like clothes and stuff. Plenty of money left over would go to charities. That'd be the dream.

Right now I'd be happy with just a few hundred.

I'd mostly donate to animal and wildlife charities such as WDCS (Whale & Dolphin Conservation) PDSA, RSPCA, WWF, Born Free…perhaps some of the smaller wildlife and animal charities as well.

I’d donate money to animal shelters so they could renovate to make it more comfortable and fun for animals in their quarters and all the supplies for health and quality food.

Also, I’d probably get a luxury condo and buy another place I’d like to live half the year in Europe!

Buy back my mother's mortgage, set up "trust funds" for my nephews so they can study at university when the time comes, buy some property in Ireland. Travel.
