Looking at all of these pictures makes me want to plant even more on my property.
It is mostly wooded, so no really sunny all day spots.

I grew up in the middle of the woods. I miss woods.

I don't miss much about where I grew up, but I miss the trees and the wild plants and flowers that grew beneath and around them.

I love being in the woods, out in the country, with birds & wildlife everywhere.

I just ordered my spring plants from 4 different catalogs. I'm already getting
"Out Of Stock" and it's the first of March.

I need to get on, in early February to beat those early birds!

I live the comforts that come with living in the city, but I miss the quiet of the country.

And I have heard that seeds are going the way toilet paper was at the start of the pandemic... I'm not looking to buy any so I don't say this for personal experience, mind you, but it's what I've heard.

So clean! In my yard the squirrels would be cracking walnuts all over the place,
and woodpeckers would be tapping holes all over the siding.

Which is why people take pictures right after they've built the thing and cleaned the patio.

To have a reference of what it's "supposed" to look like.

We lost our snowbanks some time ago. I watch the Feeder Watch camera in Ontario,
and it was snowing there a couple of days ago.
I have more blooming now, so I hope we don't have another freeze like last year.
We had frost hit in May.

In spring, we tend to alternate between thaw and freezing over. So, the first sign of spring here tends to be a thick layer of ice over everything.
