Cereal Killer I've just listened to Finnish song and I like it Much more of my style though I had some Midnight Oil flashbacks But I was nicely surprised coz it's so not Eurovision type of song

Well, that's exactly the point! I'm so glad we sent Lordi there, their song is actually very good and you're able to remember it the next day too, which can't be said about many of the other songs. Glad you like it!

Actually it's one of the very few I liked. Most Eurovision songs are so not my musical style And I was surprised I actually liked the German song - it's very predictible but catchy in the same time

Well the votes are all political In my opinion they shouldn't show the countries of the participants, just let them sing and then vote Or broadcast it on the radio

This year some clothes where over the top, some countries with a crappy song just got points because of the body parts they were showing, like how deep can clevage go these days?

Ah yes Poland tried this tactic 2 years ago if I remember well. It didn't work well either

Seriously? They never vote for us and they are our neighbours! And we sheepishly give 12 points to Sweden almost every year.

Yay, you guys have faith in Lordi! I have a good feeling about them, for once we actually have a chance to win. But we have been confident before and bitterly disappointed. Hopefully this year will be different.

It's the same with Poland stupidly voting for Germany or France coz we have strong historic and political connections and they never vote back Oh no wait a few years ago we got 12 points from Germany but the group was singing in Polish and German so that might have been the reason

Same here, especially with Sweden. I don't remember if we vote for Russia, I haven't really watched the show for a few years, but we probably do. Sometimes we give 12 points to Estonia but they aren't in the final this year.

The sad thing is that we really aren't a member of any clique. There aren't any certain votes from anybody, regardless of our song. We usually get very few points if any. But maybe this year when we actually have a good song, our luck will turn.

That's the worse - when your country is like the only one without any points. And you're praying someone gives you 2 points just to not end up with 0
