Mandie, yoga's complicated. I'd need to have a private teacher who could modify a lot of the postures to address my medical limitations. And I don't have the money for that.

there are a lot of modified yoga videos on YouTube for free, awesome ones that don't require scary weird positions or to even ben standing

they are chair series and floor series and even ones that have been changed to use a wall for balance instead of standing.

I am sorry you had such a negative experience with that one doctor.....glad you had that meeting though and were able to voice your concerns and expectations for the future.

Yeah. I really need to let go of my ingrained gut-instinct rejection of all things yoga. When I was a kid, my dad was big into yoga and tried to get me into it. When my mother found out, she had a massive fit because of the potential dangers to my health (in terms of the positions and their potential impact on my neck, where the big machinery is)...

I guess I've never considered yoga since.

You never want to go through an experience like that again...

At least you didn't go into a diabetic coma and were unable to speak up for yourself!!! God was watching out for you even though you had that experience...And that meeting you had was an eye opener for all of those who attended!!!

Isn't it funny how it's never a good shock? Like, you never think it's Thursday when it's in fact Friday. It's always you think you're further along in the week than you really are.

I got the good drugs from the oral surgeon:

currently on Vicodin
Had some of the damage from chemo fixed. So that's one less thing to worry about now.
Still probably not gonna be posting much the next few days but will when I can.
