Bear in mind, Kali is on her way back from her grandmother's funeral. Her grandmother who died suddenly. And Kali had to drive to and from the funeral, which is a journey of several days as I understand it, because she's still recovering from her lump-removal surgery and she's still dealing with her treatments.

So, you know, things could be better.

Made it back home, having a 16 hour drive sucks...It's a drive that can be done in 12 on a good day when Ii'm healthy, but because life sucks and it's exhausting and I have a crap ton of meds to take we stop over night.

I have to see the dr tomorrow, if I'm not fully back posting tomorrow, I should be on Friday.

Last week I had an amazing appointment with my Endocrinologist she said she's impressed by all the progress I have made toward getting back on track since the hospital stay in January. When that happened I had lost 37 pounds between December and January, I gain quite a bit back, but I lost way too much to my Endocrinologist's approval so since December to her apporval the offical loss is 19 pounds and everything is back on track. Her nurse is amazing and he's going to do my Dexcom (constant goucose monitoring system) insertions for me for now on which I'm so happy about because he's taking away the part of a burn out I have and hate towards Diabetes care. Ketogenic Diet is going well, great actually more than fantastic. Learning so much and loving everything I can cook!

Found out today what has been causing me with so much pain. Since it was so bad it sent me to the ER today. I have been having pain going on for a month and it's been increasing. I have Sciatica and have to follow up with PCP about the neck pain I've been having too for MRI and go from there.

I was 65 mg/dL = 3.6 mmol/l by blood work then from there I was:

63 mg/dL = 3.5 mmol/l
72 mg/dL = 4.0 mmol/l
65 mg/dL = 3.6 mmol/l
76 mg/dL = 4.2 mmol/l
68 = mg/dL 3.8 mmol/l

While in the ER they made me eat something to bring blood subars uo.

The 68 = mg/dL 3.8 mmol/l was when I got home. They didn't want to release me until I was at least at a safe number and my mom was like "I promise, I will make sure she is fine." So I was nauseated all the way home (zofran wore off) as well as the morphone they gave me. My mom said I'm fun on morphine, my brother told her she should have recorded it. I've been nauseated for weeks and threw up today a few times.

This wasn't my best week, Mandie. Between the two kitchen "fires," the migraine and the illness, I've had better weeks. But, all in all, I'm sure it could be worse.

I'm hoping this weekend helps me get better and move things forward.

Still sick, sort of. Drained, aching back!

This might be a long work week ahead cause I’m not taking any more sick days.

Kali, sorry for your sudden loss

Hope the fire smell goes away, hopefully maybe your cleaning lady has some plans to get rid of it! Or clean the soot?

Somewhere around my oven, the smell still lingers, but everywhere else seems fine now.

I'm doing okay. I'm really over feeling like crap, but that's just life, isn't it?

I'm exhausted on all fronts right now. It'll be fine.

It's been raining really heave here. It's been nice, guess because I didn't have to be out in it, but Sometime a girl just need to listen to it rain to feel better.

I think I'm finally processing everything that has happened the past few weeks.
