What's the point of insurance if you still have to pay for medical services? Oh, you know what, I need to stop wondering about the U.S. health-care system. It clearly will never make sense to me.

So my aunt gave me her old HP computer. It's a touch screen as well. So that means I have a computer until I can afford the Apple I want yay!

That's awesome Mandie. I hope it works well for you. And lol at the touch screen. I've used my iPad mini and phone for so long that when I'm able to sit up with my lap top I try to swipe my screen and get confused when it won't move

Exactly. My favorite "ad" from an insurance company here is is you get a "free" flu shot with your coverage. Um no you don't, it's a $300 shot because that's what you pay a month for the privilege of having insurance.




Okay guys, keep your fingers crossed and say a prayer if that's your thing, I've had a really tough week. Sorry for not posting much. I'm seeing my oncologist this afternoon after my blood work today. Depending on his assment. I may end up back in the hospital for a bit. Hope that won't happen but after the week I've had I'm not gonna be surprised if it does.

Today is my oldest daughter's 8th birthday!!!

This evening we have a party with her friends so I will be busy tonight too and probably exhausted!

Two weeks.

I was exhausted before, honestly. But it was warmer than normal during those two weeks, and my A/C has been taken out, so it was hard to sleep. And my sister-in-law is going back to work soon, so I offered to babysit my 10-month-old nephew for her while she finalized some personal stuff (dentist, daycare supplies for him, etc.) before that happens.

I love my nephew. After my brother, he's my favourite person in the world. He's a cutie and a half. He loves everyone, smiles easily and is generally an easy, easy baby. He's also teething right now. So he's got a permanent short fuse. And it's heartbreaking. And exhausting.
