I was at dinner tonight and I couldn't understand my brother with somethings he was talking about. Welll... I was like "I need hearing aids." My mom was like "I think you just have a horrible ear infection right now." Then I was like "Yep, but my hearing has gone down, and the best thing? My insurance kicked in today, and all I need to do is make a 500 deductible and THEN I can hopefully! Possibly get hearing aids!!!"

You're welcome. I need to save to get a ramp for the outside of my house over the steps. I am currently paying for my college classes. so I have to wait.

I completely understand. I'm trying to find every way I possibly can to meat my deductible fast. Specialist doctors cost 50, general, 30, I have a general appointment on April 9th, and I'm supposed to have my specialist on this Tuesday, for Endocrinology, but I can't get into my PCP until the 9th of April as a new patient. Sooo I may have to cancel my Endocrinology. I have to also purchase my insulin pump supplies, which will also help with the the rapid spending of the deductible. Things needed: Insulin Pump Supplies, Hearing Aids, I'm not in school right now so I need to pay for my student loans as soon as possible, but for me, medical necessities are the most important as seeing it's for Diabetic needs, s hopefully I can do all at once soon.

I have grants (I did loans before and I ended up having to pay more later so I won't do them again.), I am paying the rest out of my own pocket for the rest which I can do on a payment plan, but I don't make that much in SSI, but I will be done for this semester by May, so I have 3 months to save, I found a nice ramp for $400, I just need someone to put it up which might be another $100-$200. I have my insurance through my state.

I'm sorry that you might have to cancel your appointment.

I get you on that. I had scholarships, financial aid, got it all taken care of, saved as much as possible from what was my classes. After the payment for classes, it went to medical. The joys of being able to get that, but now I can't have it until I pay the stupid loans, they called and I was like "I don't have time to talk right now." and they proceeded to go on. It's not that I didn't have time to talk to them, it's just I had the phone up to my bad ear, and they were going on and on, when I switched it over to my left ear all I heard was noisy on the outside, so I have to wait until I have the assistance, or the greatest parts of it is when I get the emails so I can read it, or do whatever I need to do.

Sometimes the joys of a disability where I can't understand by when people are talking on the phone because I'm not reading their lips is having it through the email to where it makes a lot more sense to me. Basically able to get out of a phone call when simply telling them to email it all to me.

Due to the fact my hearing is a major issue, the only people I will try and listen to on the phone are my mom, or a family member.
