Deaf community
Hi everyone!
First of all, I'm not deaf. I do work with deaf teens and I was wondering if there are deaf people here and feel like sharing things about how they experience life. Also, just talking about the weather is an option. I'm still learning sign language but I love seeing the different signs all over the world. __________________

Yes!!!!!! WOOHOO! I'm in ASL as well! What year are you? I had the chance not this past summer, but last to work at a summer camp and the majority of the time we were doing ASL with the campers though not a lot of them were deaf, they just knew ASL due to their parents and doctors teaching it to them.
I love getting to know all sorts of things with ASL and I'm majoring in Theatre, and I want to be a Drama Therapist and have ASL be taught to my patients so they can learn to communicate with their hands as well. __________________

I am studying Belgian Sign Language though right now due to work issues I can't complete my 2nd year.
I think BSL and ASL share a lot of similarities. __________________
