Haven't posted here in forever! My work has taken over my life so there leaves little time for pleasure time on the computer.

So how are things with everyone? Annoyed with the girl stuff?

I sure am. My period has been on the fritz this month. IDK why. I've been trying herbal supplements to help this time because the Pamprin or other digestive medications aren't working.

I drank Sage tea for the digestive issues and it really helped. Now I'm drinking peppermint tea to help soothe the cramps. And I took Active Charcoal tablets which is supposed to help with water filtration as well as that icky part of the period- the gas and bloating (UGH!!!!!!) as well as act as a cleanse for the digestive tract.

My "time" decided to coincide to start with power cramps the morning of my birthday... what special kind of evil is that?? I had plans so I had to go out, feeling in pain.

It's still not as bad as it was though and I still have color in my lips so all is good.

Active charcoal tablets sound

If it works, though...

I mean, apple cider vinegar is rancid on its own, but I will down it, shots-style, whenever I have a throat tickle. And it works, which is why I keep doing that.

So the point, I guess, is: does it work?

The charcoal tablets did help thankfully. Can't even taste it since they're in capsules. It works as a digestive detox so it helped my system.

Well, then. In capsules... I would see how the taste/consistency/whatever-else wouldn't be an issue in capsule form.

I swear, it's like my ovaries know they're on the clock and they're trying to throw the mother of all Hail Mary here. I mean, again, not complaining. I seem to have gotten a lucky hand when it comes to period-adjacent "fun", but the cramps and bloatiness are new-ish and I'm just not a fan.

So when I'm on my cycle my blood sugars are extremely high. I yave managed to let them not get high which is fantastic! I still have my cravings but, I have my settings for insulin perfectly.

I know what you mean. In middle and high school I never had those issues but as I got older that's when those started. Not to mention other uncomfortable un-mentionables.

Tell me about it. My body's all out of whack. It's really destabilizing.

I guess.

My period proper is about five days long, but all the accoutrement are much longer. Like, my period doesn't start till next Wednesday, and I've been bloaty and painful for two days already.
