I’m watching Stepmom and it’s at the end when they set up for Christmas. I will withhold watching actual Christmas themed movies.

That's what you watch for Christmas? Isn't that whole season depressing enough as it is on its own without having to borrow reasons?

I agree. I've never seen it, but I heard enough to never want to.

I always pull my specials out in July. I have It's A Wonderful Life, that I got last year, but dang, that's depressing.

I never understood why people want to watch depressing Christmas movies. Christmas is supposed to focus on happy things.

But, Leanne... You literally just said that you watch Stepmom!

It's depressing, but it has a happy ending. It kind of gives me a different perspective of things.

Heck, Rudolph, Frosty, Santa Claus Is Coming to Town-all of those have horribly mean, and depressing moments in them.

I think we all know that the only thing I like about Christmas is the music. And, as far as that goes, the more depressing the better.

Depressing music is awesome. Sometimes they make me sad, but, I can't not like Christmas music.

Well, if you think about it, the tradition Christmas story (Mary and Joseph being rejected everywhere as migrants, giving birth in a freaking barn) is pretty darn depressing.

Sunny too true.

Yep, once Halloween gets here, it's going to happen fast.

I'm just going inflict a lot of my gifs on you guys, cause I do love holiday stuff, if not the day.

I've been away from my FF login for too long.

A Christmas thread? Well this is great. And I mean that in a good way.

Definitely one of my favorite holidays. And while I still think it's too early to celebrate, I've all ready made a special Christmas spotify playlist for a friend so I don't have to do it last minute.

I've also started my Christmas shopping. Don't want to wait last minute on that either. And plus I do online shopping so that takes longer.

It's way too early to celebrate Christmas. That usually starts after Halloween here.

So we're not that far away, but it's still too early.

However, for a person who's into Christmas? Why wait? Have fun. Do whatever pleases you, you know?

I think I'm one of those "I always want to be where I'm not" people. I can't wait to decorate for Halloween, but as soon as that's done, I want to decorate for Christmas.

Come November that's usually the time where I feel all "Christmas-y".

As it is, it's all ready that good, cold, bundle up weather so that makes it feel that much closer to the holidays.

My Christmas shopping is done (such a huge relief!) I don't like waiting till the last minute. And with online shopping that can take a week or two for arrivals.
