Okay so yesterday because of the holidays, I did not have a session with my T. It seems God had other plans. My Godparents came over to the house yesterday and spent several hours with me and my parents. A while later my nino asked me about school and out of no where I told him that things were taking a different direction and that I would be going to community college. Now keep in mind that my nino is an retired Army colonel. I had kind of expected him to just shake his head and nod and go 'okay' but then something completely unexpected happened: he gave me some very sound advice. He actually didn't mind me staying here at home. Even my nina told me not to see what happened as a failure. My nino said that going to community was a good thing so I could just start fresh.

Just because things at university didn't pan out doesn't mean I have to give up my dream in going into a wildlife field.

For once since I've been home (since October), I woke up without feeling any guilt and without feeling like a failure for what happened.

An Angel In Disguise

If hidden angels didn't exist
Would I have begun to write this poem to begin with?
NOT A CHANCE!

God's Hidden Angels are all around us
Will we stop to think?
Will we do what we can to slow down our lives?
So that we may be witness and hear the truth
God calls us to hear?

Hey all, just want to wish you a quick Happy New Years. Will be gone for a few days as I'm going on my annual New Years camping trip. It's something we've been doing for the past 9 or 10 years. Definately been a great tradition for us.

Kali I can't recall the exact verse at the moment, but one I like (and I think it's from Timothy) says something about God not giving us the spirit of fear but of peace.... This is why I need to memorize verses.... so I can recall them word for word and the exact location when needed

Tonight at my book study there was this question that was asked and it was a real wake up call

"If the Holy Sprit decided to leave you, how long would it take you to realiaze that He was gone?"

This freaked me out. To think that you can get so consumed with other less imporant things that you just push him so far down the list that if he were to leave you might not notice because you lost your focuse on him.

It gives me cold chills to think about that.

That would be pretty bad if you forget all about him. It's impossible for me to, I think about the Lord everyday. I think that's why praying every night is so important, it helps you to realize your priorities.
