I haven't been around in some time but popped in another thread or two so I thought I would stop in here.

This past weekend by dad was in the hospital with eternal bleeding. It turned out to be a perforated ulcer, but the doctor was able to get it under control and stop the bleeding when he was performing the scope. Many friends and family, including myself, prayed for him and it all worked out in the end. God is great! Not simply because it didn't end up being more serious, but because he gave me the strength to overcome my worry and anxiety.

I am so happy that your dad's bleeding got under control and that God gave you the strength to overcome worry and anxiety!!! Our God IS AN AWESOME GOD!!!

He really is!

I'm calling on his power to help me overcome my anxiety about going home to visit for my Godson's Birthday party in two weeks. It was this time last year that I took a series of major anxiety attacks where I felt I lost complete control. I couldn't function for some time. Please keep me in your prayers and thoughts as I prepare for this trip. Lots of worry about situations repeating.

I apologize for the delay in responding. How are you? How is everything that you would like to share?

I suffered 3 falls 3 weeks in a row in my room at night onto the hardwood floor. All were related to imbalance in my ears and other sinuses. I am in my second week of an antibiotic and had CT of my sinuses and X-Rays of my right wrist. I Praise God there were no tumors in my sinuses or broken bones noted in my X-Rays. CT scan showed thickening of my sinuses, especially the left one. Will see an Ear Nose and Throat Specialist for that and finish my antibiotic treatment. My X-Rays showed increased arthritis activity which didn't surprise me at all!!! Anyway, no falls since beginning the antibiotic and sinuses clearing and balance getting restored!!!

I leave for my trip tomorrow. I'm anxious but at a manageable level. Praying all goes well.

Yes, the 2nd chapter of Acts is a great chapter and a name of a Christian sing group from the 1970's and 1980's!!!
