Welcome to the Bunnies who love Harry Potter thread!!

SPECIAL NOTE

DISCUSSIONS FOR HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE HAVE BEGUN!!

You have been justly warned.

Uh, who are you people?

We are wayward Bunnies from the Getting to 10,000 Posts thread on the Off Topic Board that have a love for Harry Potter that cannot be contained. As our conversations tended to overpower that thread, this one was created for HP talk. And only HP talk please.

So what part of the HP world do you discuss?

Anything and everything. If it has aired on a movie screen or been put into print, it’s fair game. All ships, all characters, all actors.

So with that in mind, a few ground rules.

1) B/c we make no distinction of what part of HP to discuss, any ship you care to talk about is fine. Please though understand that not everyone will agree with you. If you disagree, don’t attack someone. We encourage a friendly debate but don’t let it get out of control.

2) As aforementioned, we talk about everything that is out. If you haven’t seen a movie or read one of the books, don’t get mad if you read something that you would consider a spoiler.

3) If you post spoilers please make sure you mention what it’s for(book or movie), use the

smilie and leave plenty of space so that those that don’t want to read it, don’t have to.

4) For the love of all that is magical, have some fun!! That’s really why we’re here.

So...you guys do know there's an HP Board, right?

Yes, we do know. However, we were looking for a place that talks about the world of HP in general and doesn't compartmentalize every book, every movie, every ship, etc. Also, most everyone that will post here are originally from the Bunny thread and therefore, we feel a bit lost b/c we don't know anyone there. Basically, we were looking for a place where we could be Bunnies and talk HP and this was the only place that fit those requirements.

Ron gagged on a large piece of kipper. Hermione spared him one look of disdain before turning back to Harry.
"Everyone knows you've been telling the truth now, don't they? The whole Wizarding world has had to admit that you were right about Voldemort being back and that you really fought him twice in the last two years and escaped both times. And now they're calling you 'the Chosen One' -- well, come on, can't you see why people are fascinated by you?"
Harry was finding the Great Hall very hot all of a sudden, even though the ceiling looked cold and rainy.
"And you've been through all that persecution from the Ministry when they were trying to make out you were unstable and a liar. You can still see the marks on the back of your hand where that evil woman made you write with your own blood, but you stuck to your story anyway. . . ."
"You can still see where those brains got hold of me in the Ministry, look," said Ron, shaking back his sleeves.
"And it doesn't hurt that you've grown about a foot over the summer either," Hermione finished, ignoring Ron.
"I'm tall," said Ron inconsequentially.

I want to put the part where Harry says, "That's alright professor, you don't have to call me sir!"

I actually laughed out loud at that part. I even called my boyfriend at work to read the passage to him.

I couldn't believe Harry said that, it was awesome!! He really is his father's son.

"'Slug Club,'" repeated Ron with a sneer worthy of Malfoy. "It's pathetic. Well, I hope you enjoy your party. Why don't you try hooking up with McLaggen, then Slughorn can make you King and Queen Slug --"
"We're allowed to bring guests," said Hermione, who for some reason had turned a bright, boiling scarlet, "and I was going to ask you to come, but if you think it's that stupid then I won't bother!"
Harry suddenly wished the pod had flown a little farther, so that he need not have been sitting here with the pair of them. [cut snippet]
"You were going to ask me?" asked Ron, in a completely different voice.
"Yes," said Hermione angrily. "But obviously if you'd rather I hooked up with McLaggen . . ."
There was a pause while Harry continued to pound the resilient pod with a trowel.
"No, I wouldn't," said Ron, in a very quiet voice.
